West Mall – A Shopping Experience Destination in the Heart of Western Sofia

West Mall opens a new chapter, offering even more opportunities for shopping and entertainment to its visitors. This is the new name of the former Mega Mall, now reintroduced with a refreshed interior concept and a wide range of new popular brands set to revitalize the shopping center.
The mall’s contemporary design blends avant-garde style with functionality, creating an inviting environment where the pleasure of shopping meets comfort and relaxation. The management’s main goal is to attract leading fashion and entertainment brands to enhance the visitor experience.
Retailers such as Kino Arena, KFC, McDonald’s, PizzaLab, CCC, Teodor, H8S, Comsed, and Minimart have already opened their doors to customers. In 2025, West Mall will welcome several more key tenants. HalfPrice – a leader in the premium off-price retail segment – will open on 2,200 sq. m on Level +1, offering top international brands at attractive prices. The restaurant chain Happy will also launch a 1,100 sq. m restaurant with a unique panoramic view of Zapaden Park. Additionally, on March 22, the retail chains TEDi and ZORA will open their first stores within the shopping center.
The transformation from Mega Mall to West Mall is an ambitious, carefully planned, and well-executed process. In response to the evolving needs of modern consumers, West Mall aims to deliver a vibrant shopping journey filled with discovery and excitement, establishing itself as the leading shopping and leisure destination in Western Sofia.
Beyond serving the neighborhood, the mall also attracts visitors from nearby districts such as Krasna Polyana, Moderno Predgradie, and Obelya. Its strategic location and commitment to maintaining its reputation as a preferred shopping destination are reflected in its new name – West Mall – a title that is both symbolic and purposeful.
More than a shopping and entertainment hub, West Mall is envisioned as a social space – a place where diverse communities and cultures come together. Through its variety of entertainment options and communal areas, the mall offers an environment that encourages social connection and shared experiences, highlighting a new perspective on urban retail: a space for lifestyle, leisure, and community.
